 2-1-1 Hotline  -Assistance is available 24 hou​rs a day, 7 days a week, and you'll be directed to the nearest emergency food or social service agency in your area.


3-1-1 Call Center​

 3-1-1 Call Center​  -Provides a single point of contact for the services and programs offered by the more than 60 agencies comprising Broward County government. For emergencies, call 911.

ARC Broward – Achievement & Rehabilitative Centers

A nationally accredited, private, not-for-profit organization providing services and employment to children and adults with autism, Down’s syndrome, and other developmental disabilities, as well as those with various life challenges.

Food Assistance

SNAP and SUNCAP Programs (Nutritional support)

SNAP provides nutritional support for low-income seniors, people with disabilities living on fixed incomes, and other individuals and families with low incomes.​ The SUNCAP Program is a special Food Assistance Program for individuals who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI). 

  • Apply - Eligible students receive this meal benefit at both breakfast and lunch each school day. Each year an application should be submitted. Your child’s application is only valid for one school year.

 A nutrition program that provides healthy foods for you, your infant, and your child, plus helpful nutrition information – all at no cost for those who qualify. WIC also offers breastfeeding support and referrals to health care, immunizations and other community services.
